Uzima, a Black female founded hair care brand, bringing clean, modern, multidimensional, scalp and strand care to textured hair, has forged a retail partnership with the leading luxury beauty and fashion retailer Moda Operandi.

Uzima is a luxury hair and scalp care collection focused on treating hair loss, thinning, with attention to scalp health. Having worked at Google’s Moonshot Factory, the brand’s founder used her expertise in tech and research to create a prestige line of products to treat these common issues, especially for those with textured hair. Almost 60% of women experience hair loss.

The collection is comprised of four treatment products; leave-in conditioner ($58); nourishing oil ($40); hair mist ($45); and scalp serum ($70).

On Aug. 17, Uzima debuted two of the treatment products: the Leave-In-Conditioner and Scalp Serum, available online at modaoperandi.com.
