Seiwa Kasei Introduces Promois SIG Series with Heat Guard Bond

The new ingredient protects hair from heat damage caused by hairstyling tools.

Japanese supplier Seiwa Kasesi introduces the Promois SIG Series with the Heat Guard Bond concept.

The new ingredient protects hair from heat damage caused by hairstyling tools.

Promois SIG series is a unique protein derivative composed of peptide (hydrolyzed protein) and silyl, which plays a key role in protection from thermal damage.

Promois SIG series binds to the damaged part by adsorption of the peptide. Once the silyl is exposed on the hair, the Heat Guard Bond takes place – the Promois SIG being the film which can protect moisture and protein from thermal damage.

Moisturizing data compiled from a hair iron set between 180°C and 230°C.

Normally, moisture is lost during the heating process, giving way to damage. With Promois SIG’s heat guard bond, moisture is maintained and increased long after the heating process is complete. Hair texture is also improved and more desirable.
