Ingrid Jackel is the new CEO of Pangaea Holdings, parent company to Lumin and Meridian.

With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Jackel is a seasoned beauty executive and industry changemaker known for leading the charge on innovative breakthrough products and catapulting companies to global success.

Jackel joined Pangaea as president of Pangaea Brands in 2022 before being named CEO of Pangaea Holdings, Inc. in March.

She is responsible for leading the holding company’s two flagship brands: Lumin Men’s Skincare and Meridian Grooming. Since taking the reins, Jackel has been actively reinventing both brands, evolving them to be industry disruptors that will appeal to broader audiences and drive category growth.

Jackel’s career has amassed an impressive resume of achievements with numerous industry accolades including “Most Innovative Mass Marketer of the Year” in 2003; “Marketer of the Year” in 2014; and WWD Beauty Inc’s 2015 “Beauty’s 50 Most Powerful Women.”

Prior to her post at Pangaea, she most recently served as CEO of Yes To, Inc, a leading natural skin care brand known for its unique blends of fruits and vegetables, from 2015 to December 2019. Jackel boasts a long list of accomplishments during her tenure there, including doubling gross revenue that led them to scoring Ulta’s 2016 Brand of the Year Award and expanding the brand’s international footprint.

Before Yes To, Jackel was the visionary behind the reinvention of Physicians Formula that modernized the 80-year-old cosmetics brand, bringing quality products from “class to mass.” There, she held several positions over the course of a decade including President, CEO and Chairwoman. She led the charge on the company’s IPO in November 2006 and the secondary offering in April 2007, and then led the M&A process to bring the company back to the private sector in 2012, through a successful sale to Markwins. Under her leadership, Physicians Formula established itself as one of the top 10 fastest growing cosmetics companies.

Ingrid Jackel began her career in the beauty industry in the early 1990s at Pierre Fabre, France’s second largest pharmaceutical and dermo-cosmetic laboratory, working on the US adaptation of some of the company’s iconic skincare and body care brands such as Avène, Elancyl and Aderma.

She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a MBA, with honors, from one of France’s top business schools (Audencia, Nantes, France). After relocating to the United States, Jackel continued her studies, earning a master’s of business administration with honors from Bowling Green State University.
