Acne brand Peace Out Skincare received a $20 million minority investment from 5th Century Partners. Peace Out will use the money to add staff, enter new categories and expand at retail. The brand, best known for its Acne Dots, is expected to have sales of $50-60 million this year.

The five-year-old company is said to be the No. 1 acne brand in Sephora. Products are also sold through its own website and Amazon. Company executives said new product development will double from four new products a year to eight. Acne is the top category for Peace Out, but the company also offers a range of anti-aging formulas and other skincare treatments.
