Consumers Keen on the ‘French Girl Beauty’: Trendalytics

Women are gravitating toward effortless “French girl beauty” as the natural look continues to gain popularity, according to Trenalytics
 
Lipstick 
 
In its most recent trends report revealing the biggest shifts in consumer searches for the month of April, hydrating lipstick is seeing a 1,326% increase from last year, while lip stain follows with a 52% and French skincare, a 25% increase.
 
Eyeliner
 
Eyeliner is the ultimate attention-grabber, and beauty enthusiasts are taking advantage of its graphic nature. Fishtail eyeliner has increased 570% from last year; eyeliner stickers, a 117% increase; and graphic eyeliner, a 61% increase. 
 
Hair Care
 
Hair health is taking priority this season as consumers' feel hair health is a critical role in their hair care routines. Hair oiling, mousse and pomade have increased 15, 12 and 11%, respectively.
