Alterna Haircare promoted John Powers to vice president of sales and education

Alterna Haircare: promoted John Powers to vice president of sales and education, The Americas and Jennifer Rattazzi to area vice president, salon professional, North America. Powers most recently held the position of area vice president, salon professional, North America, and Rattazzi most recently held the position of director of sales and education, West.

A beauty industry professional with multi-channel experience, Powers joined Alterna Haircare in 2014 following leadership positions with both retailers and manufacturers, such as Lancôme, Lord & Taylor, Goldwell and BSG. Most recently, he held the position of director of key accounts at AHAVA.

Rattazzi has been a leader within the Alterna Haircare organization since 2008, during which time she directed sales and operations initiatives across the western US and Canada. She boasts nearly 20 years of experience in sales and business development, previously holding leadership positions at BMW and Joico.
