Manicure lovers need to use caution when reaching into their handbags to grab their wallets at checkout. They wouldn’t want to chip a nail!

New York City-based nail studio Chillhouse is making payments a cinch for wearers of its limited-edition Cash in Hand Chill Tips with a new partnership with Cash App (the good kind of nail chip). The RFID chip technology embedded in the thumb nail gives wearers easy access to the Cash App to make and receive seamless payments with just a scan.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Cash App and introduce new technology into our award-winning Chill Tips,” said Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton, Founder & CEO of Chillhouse. “We can’t wait to see how our customers use these nails to make sending and receiving money on-the-go easier than ever this holiday season.”

Unique Design

Cash App said it worked closely with the Chillhouse team to create a unique design featuring a Cash App-inspired green gradient and chrome accents on almond-shaped nails. A translucent, glittery finish adds a festive touch, per marketers.

How to Use

To utilize the Cash in Hand Chill Tips, users can hold a phone near the thumb nail of the set and the chip technology will take them to the Cash App payment pad to make a peer-to-peer payment.

Cash in Hand Chill Tips are available for $18 with nationwide shipping via Chillhouse.com/cashapp, and Cash App customers will receive 50% off (up to $20) of any purchase from Chillhouse.com when paying with their Cash App Card between now and Christmas Day, while supplies last.
