Beiber’s Someday Wins WWD Beauty Biz Award

Give Back Brands, which created Justin Beiber’s Someday fragrance, was presented with the 2011 WWD Beauty Biz Award for “Product of the Year” in the Prestige Fragrance category. The award was presented at the WWD Beauty Biz Awards breakfast ceremony at New York City’s Four Seasons Restaurant, where industry elite gathered to honor the most innovative beauty products, initiatives and launches of 2011.

Justin’s inspired approach to his first scent showcases his desire to connect with his fans, and to incorporate his life experiences into his work. He is the first male artist to develop a fragrance for his female fans first, deepening the relationship he has with them. “Justin is a phenomenal talent with incredibly dedicated fans; it is no surprise to us that Someday is topping the sales charts, however it is more than we could have ever imagined,” said Noreen Dodge, Give Back Brands EVP of Marketing. “We were thrilled to be the number one celebrity fragrance launch to date and are honored to be recognized by such a respected industry source as the product launch of the year for Someday by WWD.”

Bieber and his licensee, Give Back Brands, came up with a business plan in which proceeds were earmarked for a variety of charities.
