Sustainable cleaning company Blueland is partnering with drag queen and environmental activist Pattie Gonia to support Plastic Free July.

The global initiative encourages consumers to minimize their consumption of single-use plastics in everyday life.

Pointless Plastic Challenge

Blueland and Pattie Gonia are introducing the “Pointless Plastic Challenge” to their followers. To further eliminate the consumption of single-use-plastic, the partnership aims to shed light on the excessive use of plastic in daily routines while raising money for Beyond Plastics, a leading non-governmental organization in the fight against plastic pollution.

The challenges gives participants a chance to post a photo on Instagram of their “pointless plastic,” whether bananas or Amazon package, and tagging the brand. For every photo shared, the brand will donate $10 to Beyond Plastics.
