Color Street to Pledge $200K in Support of Military and Veteran Appreciation

For the month of November, the Color Street Foundation, the charitable arm of Color Street, is pledging $200,000 in support of Military and Veteran appreciation.  

 

Sales of Salute To You, a limited edition nail strip designed to honor the commitment of both service members and their families, will aid the important work of Color Street’s charity partners: Fisher House Foundation, Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors (TAPS), and K9s For Warriors.

 

A limited-edition nail strip, Salute To You, will help start the conversation and raise awareness for the cause. Each set includes 16 double-ended 100% real nail polish strips.

 

A $100,000 donation will be made to Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. Ninety-two Fisher Houses are located at military and VA medical centers across the country and overseas.

 

A $50,000 donation will be made to Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors (TAPS). TAPS is the national non-profit organization providing comfort, care and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. TAPS supports the 24/7 National Military Survivor Helpline 800-959-TAPS (8277).

 

A $50,000 donation will be made to K9s For Warriors.  K9s For Warriors provides highly trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury and/or military sexual trauma.
