DSM-Firmenich has created a fragrance inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year for 2025, Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse.

Available as an eau de parfum and candle, the decadent blend opens with cocoa bean, melts into a salted peanut and lingers with vanilla bean. Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse is a warming, rich brown hue, embodying both organic aspects and a natural allure, per marketers.

DSM-Firmenich Master Perfumer Honorine Blanc (creator of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, Valentino Born in Roma and YSL Black Opium), was the nose behind the Mocha Mousse scent.

Mocha Mousse is an enchanting color that reveals new depths with each glance,” he offered. “Its indulgent, satisfying presence evokes serenity and warmth. I wanted to capture this enveloping feeling in the fragrance. Like savoring rich Mocha Mousse, it creates an instant craving. The scent embodies an intense, yet velvety sensuality – where luxurious comfort meets seduction. It is a celebration of softness as a profound and captivating force.”

In addition to this fragrance, DSM-Firmenich developed a spectrum of seven additional fragrances inspired by Mocha Mousse, across various formats including eau de toilette, candles, body wash, fabric conditioner and hair mist, crafted by perfumers around the world.
