DSM-Firmenich’s Sunsense3 Pushes the Boundaries of Traditional Sun Care

DSM-firmenich’s personal care unit has unveiled Sunsense3, billed as sun protection that the senses will love. It offers lineup of seven concepts leveraging lightweight textures, SPF protection and fragrances that align with current consumer sun care trends, allowing formulators to address pain points of greasy SPF, planet, ocean and more.

DSM-Firmenich says this is the first synergistic collaboration of perfumery and beauty, combining both expertise from PC innovations and fragrance. As a result, Sunsense3 reopens new opportunities for sensory innovation, allowing for lightweight textures, invisible SPF protection, tangible skin benefits and captivating fragrances.

Sunsense3 is a 360-product line-up that pushes the boundaries of traditional sun care with products that activate all senses of touch, sight and smell to elevate each usage occasion, to finally turn UV protection into a daily indulgence. Examples include an energizing scent for no-drip sun care for playing sports outside or a shine effect and deep woody perfume fluid lotion for people that want to feel sensual at the beach.

Cutting-edge technology, high SPF protection, and skin-nourishing ingredients are at the core of the seven Sunsense3 concepts. They are also backed by strong sustainability credentials.
