Between backstage styling at the Grammys in February and the Oscars in March, Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty will step into the spotlight as a co-presenting sponsor of the 12th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Awards (MUAHS) for IATSE Local 706, alongside L’Oréal.

Taking place on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, this exclusive event honors the hairstylists and makeup artists responsible for Hollywood’s iconic celebrities and productions.

“The MUAH Awards celebrate the style architects of Hollywood glamour—the artists who sculpt smooth, twist, and transform tresses from visions into reality,” said James Guidotti, CEO of Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty. “For decades, Giovanni has been part of that creative process, tucked inside hair kits, backstage at major productions, and woven into the fabric of film, television, and theater.”

Though consumers know Giovanni as a mainstay natural haircare brand in more than 15,000 retailers globally, it is also the go-to product for professionals behind the scenes and on the red carpets of more than 300 productions in Hollywood.

Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty was founded in a Sunset Strip salon in the 1970s by hairstylist Arthur Guidotti who shared his formulations with studio stylists at MGM, Paramount and Fox. Since then, Arthur’s son, James Guidotti, brought the brand to the mainstream, while behind the scenes, the industry professionals continued to rely on its masks, mousses, frizz-fighters, sculpting sprays and styling clays.
