Groupe GM Partners with Fragrance House Memo Paris to Roll Out New Luxury Hotel Line

Groupe GM, a global leader in the guest amenity industry, is collaborating with luxury fragrance house Memo Paris.

The partnership marks Memo’s first collaboration with Groupe GM to create a hotel line that highlights its unique fragrances and luxurious designs.

Founded in 2007 by husband-and-wife team Clara and John Molloy, Memo Paris imagines perfume as a journey, building its identity around destinations, raw materials and natural ingredients, according to the makers. Their desire for travels to far-off places and encounters is a reflection of the couple themselves: Clara, a Parisian-Catalan poet and John a sporty Irish globetrotter.

Emerald Isle Scent

Memo Paris aims to create unique fragrances that embody specific destinations with the help of complex compositions with “unexpected” notes. The fragrance chosen for the new hotel line is its signature Irish leather scent. Inspired by the green landscapes of the co-founder’s homeland, this refined scent is symbolic of freedom, wilderness and the natural world, per the makers. With notes of juniper berry oil, green mate absolute and leather accord, the fragrance aims to transport hotel guests, with the evocation of an Irish countryside morning with its wintery-fresh aroma.

Golden Design

In the brand’s first hotel line with Groupe GM, the range features high-end, black-and-gold packaging, evoking a sense of travel and adventure with a unique geometric pattern taking shape from horses galloping on the horizon and the rush of the wind in the lush Irish landscape, per marketers.

The Memo Paris hotel line contains up to 98% ingredients of natural origin and features 40ml plant-based tube products with recycled plastic caps. A 30-gram bar certified RSPO soap is also available for customers featuring its Irish leather scent.

The range also features large format dispensers available in liquid soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, such as the 300 ml recycled plastic Ghost dispenser that comes in a rectangular shape evoking the famous Memo fragrance bottles. As its name suggests, the dispenser is fixed on a hidden rail, creating the illusion that the product is levitating. These dispensers feature gold caps for the Memo Paris hotel line.

Refillable Formats

Additionally, the hotel line offers a safe and clean refillable large-format EcoFill dispenser with sealed refill pouches, which guarantee product origin and traceability while preventing bacterial contamination. The EcoFill dispenser for this line includes double-sided visibility windows and takes only seconds to change the pouches, making it easier, cleaner and faster for housekeeping, according to the brand.

Care About Earth Program

Memo Paris’s eco-designed amenity range is in line with Groupe GM’s Care About Earth program and contributes to the corporate effort to lower its impact on the environment. The initiative aims to reduce the impact of its products on the environment and contribute to sustainability to protect the planet for many generations.
