All-day hybrid event at the Javits Center offers opportunity to ask questions, share real-world challenges and connect with peers navigating regulatory pressures.

The Independent Beauty Association (IBA) is bringing together US federal and state regulatory authorities with beauty industry leaders in New York City for its Cosmetics Convergence Spring 2026 Edition: Meet the Regulators on May 21 at the Javits Center in New York from 8am-7pm.

Designed for engagement, this in-person (hybrid) conference gives participants the opportunity to ask questions, share real-world challenges, and connect with peers navigating the same regulatory pressures.

This full-day, in-person hybrid conference is designed to provide firsthand updates and perspective on the regulatory programs, enforcement priorities, and compliance expectations shaping today’s fast-moving beauty and personal care landscape.

According to IBA, confirmed participants include the FDA, FTC, BBB National Programs’ National Advertising Division (NAD) and Institute for Responsible Influence (IRI), California OEHHA and regulatory agencies in New York, Vermont, and Colorado overseeing extended producer responsibility (EPR) and ingredient restriction laws.
