Ivy Beauty Donates $20,000 to the National Urban League In Honor of Juneteenth

The NYC-based nonpartisan historic civil rights organization advocates on behalf of economic and social justice for African-Americans.

Ivy Beauty, on behalf of All Mighty Bond, Gold Finger, i-ENVY, Kiss New York Professional, Red by Kiss and Ruby Kisses, will donate $20,000 to the National Urban League in honor of Juneteenth.
 
“We’re honored and grateful for the opportunity to support this organization and be a part of their efforts to provide direct impact and improve the lives of more than two million people nationwide,” said an Ivy Beauty representative. “Supporting BIPOC and underserved communities is one of our core values as a company, and we are proud of our consistent support action for the communities affected. We always strive to seek out opportunities that further aid in supporting economic empowerment, education, and the guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in America.”
 
The National Urban League is a nonpartisan historic civil rights organization based in New York City that advocates on behalf of economic and social justice for African-Americans and against racial discrimination in the United States. The National Urban League spearheads the efforts of its 92 local affiliates through the development of programs, public policy research and advocacy, providing direct services that impact and improve the lives of more than 2 million people annually nationwide.
 
The League promotes economic empowerment through education and job training, housing and community development, workforce development, entrepreneurship, health, and quality of life. The National Urban League and their Education and Youth Development division have gathered the expertise and supportive evidence to develop academic programs that address the specific social and cultural needs of young African Americans. With several different projects like Project Ready and Equity and Excellence Project, The National Urban League gives opportunities for character development and fills the gap in resources for both students and educators.
