Natura may sell The Body Shop. After completing the sale of Aesop to L'Oréal, Natura disclosed that it may be time to move on from The Body Shop, too.

In a corporate filing, the Natura board of directors authorized management to explore strategic alternatives for The Body Shop, which may include a potential sale of this business.

“There can be no assurance that this process will result in any transaction,” the filing said. “Natura does not intend to comment on or provide updates regarding this matter unless and until it determines that further disclosure is appropriate or required based on the then-current facts and circumstances.”

The announcement comes just months after The Body Shop changed CEOs. David Boynton was replaced by Ian Bickley as interim CEO. Bickley is trying to boost sales of The Body Shop, which reported a 12.5% decline in Q2 sales.
