Nordstrom appointed a new general merchandise manager of beauty and accessories. Debbi Hartley-Triesch takes over from Gemma Lionello who is moving to Washington DC to become Northeast regional manager. Pari Sanayei, who had been Northeast regional manager, will fill the role of Northwest regional manager. The changes take effect tomorrow. These personnel changes are just the latest at Nordstrom, which has seen a serious of major executive changes lately, including naming Farrell Redwine chief human resources officer, and Alix Box senior vice president and regional manager of Nordstrom Canada. In March of last year, Erik Nordstrom was named sole CEO.
