Skincare Brand Futurewise Launches at Target After Three Months on the Market

Futurewise, the skincare brand centered around maintaining a strong skin barrier from the founders who brought consumers Starface, PLUS and Julie, will be available starting today to shop at Target.com and will be rolling into Target stores across the US.

 

This is the brand’s first entry into physical retail in under three months since entering the market. Futurewise first launched direct-to-consumer in November 2022 with a system of products dedicated to slugging, a skincare practice that promotes deep moisture and barrier repair. Through the new partnership, Futurewise is bringing the practice to a mass audience through its simple-to-use system, consisting of Slug Boost, Slug Cream and Slug Balm.

 

Slug Boost is an ultra-fine essence mist that hydrates skin, prepping it for a skincare routine. Hyaluronic and polyglutamic acids and glycerin form a trio of water-attracting humectants that allow for deep hydration, while squalane helps to condition and soften the skin.

 

Slug Cream is a vegan triple lipid complex of plant-derived fatty acids, cholesterol and ceramides that work together to strengthen the skin barrier, which helps preserve the skin’s moisture levels and shield it from external stressors leaving behind a bouncy, dewy complexion. 

 

Slug Balm— Silky, non-sticky jelly balm works as an occlusive to lock in moisture and create a cocoon-like environment for skin to repair itself. Plant-based oils provide both occlusive and moisturizing benefits and seal in hydration, while lipid complex strengthens the skin barrier and improves its ability to retain water.
