Inspired by artists’ use of clear resinous materials to create realistic qualities in their portraits, Arch Personal Care (Booth No. 1131) has rolled out ChronoSphere Opticals Brite, which work to neutralize skin imperfections.

ChronoSphere Optical Brite (INCI: Silicone and DMPA/isophthalic acid/SMDI copolymer and Green 5) is a light controlling spherical powder that obscures skin imperfections, hides fine lines and wrinkles and creates the illusion of surface smoothness. The clear coating on the outside of the sphere changes the angle in which light enters ChronoSphere Optical Brite. The focal point is then shifted into the center from the other edge of the silica bead, thus distorting the image captured by the viewer, according to Arch, which notes that the suggested use level is 1-10%.

Also at Supplier’s Day, Arch is showcasing Metabiotics Resveratrol (INCI: Pichia/Resveratrol ferment extract)—which allows companies to formulate products with anti-aging, non-surgical microlifting, anti-inflammatory claims—as well as PhytoTerra Organic Baobab Oil (INCI: Adansonia digitata (Baobab) seed oil), which improves the moisture in hair and skin and rehydrates the skin to combat wrinkles.
