Victoria Jackson is 2025 Brand of the Year Honoree for No Makeup Makeup: Hollywood Beauty Awards

As the founder of Victoria Jackson Cosmetics, she made history as the first cosmetics brand sold on television, achieving $1 million in sales in its first week.

The Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs) has tapped Victoria Jackson the 2025 Brand of the Year Honoree for No Makeup Makeup.

Founded by Michele Elyzabeth, the HBAs will celebrate a decade of honoring the architects of beauty on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Avalon Hollywood, a black-tie dinner ceremony benefitting the Helen Woodward Animal Center.

The HBAs recognize talent in hair, makeup, photography and styling for film, TV, music, the red carpet and editorial, as well as special honorees.

Former Brand of the Year honorees include Cindy Crawford for Meaningful Beauty, Gabrielle Union and Larry Sims for Flawless by Gabrielle Union and more.

Beauty Trailblazer

A beauty industry visionary, Jackson redefined makeup in the 1980s with her “no makeup” makeup aesthetic—celebrating natural beauty with effortless, wearable cosmetics. As the founder of Victoria Jackson Cosmetics, she made history as the first cosmetics brand sold on television, achieving $1 million in sales in its first week. Her infomercials and QVC presence went on to generate over $1 billion, cementing her legacy as a trailblazer in beauty.

At the height of her success, Jackson shifted her focus from makeup to medicine. When her daughter was diagnosed with the rare autoimmune disorder NMO at 14 years old, she and her husband, Bill Guthy, established the Guthy-Jackson Charitable Foundation. Their dedication to research and innovation led to groundbreaking therapies that have transformed the landscape of NMO treatment.

Today, alongside award-winning beauty brand innovator Kim Wileman, she has revised her iconic vision with No Makeup Makeup, a modern reinvention of Victoria Jackson’s iconic formula, offering a featherlight, shade-adaptive and color-correcting finish that seamlessly blends with skin. With a sheer, breathable texture, it neutralizes redness and imperfections while enhancing natural beauty. Featuring 13 FlexShade technology shades, it adapts to a full range of skin tones for a luminous, second-skin effect.

Oscar-nominated makeup artist Donald Mowat is the 2025 HBA Ambassador.
