AkzoNobel (Stand No. J36) has introduced DynamiX H2O polymer, which gives hair styling formulators the ability to combine excellent, long-lasting hold and humidity resistance with flexible, movable, natural motion in styling products. According to AkzoNobel, DynamX H2O enables formulators to create styling products with the optimal combination of flexibility and strength, due to its unique urethane-acrylic technology. DynamX H20 joins the DynamX polymer, which was launched in 2002.
“By creating the DynamX polymer properties in a water-based formula with no alcohol, formulators can now achieve the desired properties and aesthetics in a wide range of styling product forms, such as gels, mousses, creams, waxes, pomades and spritz products,” explained Laurie Marshall, global marketing manager, hair styling, Akzo Nobel.
DynamX H2O is a unique, patented composition based on polyurethanes and acrylates. This unique polymer structure enhances product performance designed for dynamic styling properties. The urethane provides hold, elasticity and flexibility, and the acrylic provides strength, humidity resistance and easy shampoo removability.
