Topline Products Installs Blow Molding Equipment at Plant
Topline Products Company Inc. recently installed state-of-the-art blow molding equipment at its Topline Michigan plant in Dundee, MI. According to the company, the new manufacturing capability will enable Topline to produce bottles and other components for mascara and lipgloss, offering its international customers both an Asian and North American base for product launches. Topline produces cosmetics packaging and products at four manufacturing sites in China.
Topline purchased the Michigan plant, formerly Motor City Plastics, in June 2010, as previously reported in Happi.
Qosmedix Expands Range Of Airless Pump Bottles
Qosmedix recently expanded its range of airless packaging to include a new family of elegant pump bottles. Companies can choose from three different sizes in the series: 15ml (Part No. 29897), 30ml (Part No. 29898) and 50ml (Part No. 29899) for packaging cream, lotion or liquid formulas. According to the Qosmedix, a platinum colored cap and base add the look of luxury, while the clear body allows users to see the level of contents inside.
Fusion Packaging Reveals New Airless Bottle
Fusion Packaging has released a new airless bottle aptly named Reveal. A transparent view strip enables the user to see the product within. The packaging is available in 15ml, 30ml and 50ml sizes for a variety of personal care products.

Susan Brown’s Baby, Inc. won Rexam’s 5th Annual Formulation Challenge, according to the company.
In this latest contest, personal care product innovators were asked to create a baby care product based upon the company’s EZi one-touch mechanical foamer, said the company.
In congratulating the winner, Casper Kleiman, product manager, toiletries, Rexam Personal Care Division, said,“Innovation is the lifeblood of our business, and new dispensing technologies, and inventive formulations such as this year’s winner, demonstrate that the creative spirit is very much alive and well in the personal care industry.”
For its winning entry, Arizona-based Susan Brown’s Baby earned a corporate prize of $10,000. The company (www.susanbrownsbaby.com) prides itself on “pure and gentle luxury products for baby and mom.”
