    Garnier hosted its first-ever virtual event in the US today with “World of Garnier Green Beauty” shared with exclusive access to beauty editors. The interactive showcase features everything from new product launches to expert videos.

    Big news is that Garnier is working with two NGOs – Ocean Conservancy and Plastics for Change – to reduce environmental and social impact of plastic pollution.

    It’s been a busy year for Garnier. In early 2020, the brand debuted “treat” natural shampoos and conditioners, as reported in Happi, as well as five-minute hair color mask. The vegan formula mask is infused with deep-depositing pure color pigments and avocado oil and contains no parabens or silicones.

    Adding to the growing Fructis Treat collection, Garnier’s new Treat Shampoo & Conditioner nourishes and detangles, resulting in hair that is smoother, hydrated, and repaired with no weigh down. Free of silicones, parabens, and artificial colorants, the four new Treat Shampoos & Conditioners are 98% naturally-derived and 100% vegan with no animal derived ingredients or by-products.

    The new Garnier Green Labs skin care line spans from a Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream with Vitamin-C + Pineapple to a Canna-B Pore Perfecting 3-in-1 Clay Wash + Exfoliant + Mask with Vitamin-B3 + Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil. Happi reported on the Serum Cream last week, as seen here. 

    At Garnier, its mission is to improve the look and feel of skin, while being mindful of the planet.

    “Introducing Garnier Green Labs: we bring together the best of nature and science to create efficient solutions for glowing, healthy-looking skin, no matter the skin type or tone,” said the slideshow. “With Garnier Green Labs we have brought together superfood extracts paired with dermatological ingredients – infused into our formulas. Garnier introduces these solutions in a new and multi-tasking format - a serum cream. 1 product that does it all, in a lightweight, yet super hydrating texture.”

    All products debuted on Ulta.com on Sept. 15 and is now sold at drug, food, and mass-market retailers and on garnierusa.com.
