Bicosome will host “OneSkin,” a global skincare educational event which also serves as a charitable fundraiser for several not-for-profit organizations.
The event is being supported by other two Spanish organizations, the Beauty Cluster Barcelona (BCB) and the Institute of Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia, from the Spanish Research Council (IQAC – CSIC). This event will span across key topics in skin science, welcoming the skin community, including scientists, formulators and marketers.
Bicosome’s vision for this event is around giving back, both within the personal care industry and to charities outside of this space. Bicosome will provide informative content related to different aspects of skin and presented by renowned speakers. In turn, the company opens the opportunity for all participants to make an optional donation to a non-profit organization. Working with global partners will allow for an expansion in the reach of attendees as well as diversity in organizations receiving the donations.
“OneSkin is about uniting skincare community this holiday season around our passion, the skin science, and also about contributing with causes we believe and defend as a company and as human beings” stated Lucyanna Barbosa-Barros, CEO of Bicosome.
“We see the value, now more than ever, of how important it is to share and embrace solidarity. With OneSkin we share science, knowledge, and we call for solidarity by encouraging the community to participate in projects that benefit us all,” added Olga Lopez, scientist in the CSIC and co-founder of Bicosome.
