Bevel is expanding on shelves and in doors. This month, the men’s hair and grooming brand debuts in 2,000 Walmart stores and online. At the same time, Bevel is rolling out a curl créme, two-in-one pomade for waves and beards for guys with longer hair, and exfoliating pads to clear clogged pores. Products range in price from $11.95 to $13.95.
While some beauty companies struggled in 2020, Bevel thrived. With many barbershops closed due to the pandemic, Bevel's grooming products were in demand by consumers who were cutting their hair at home. The company also gained fans by supporting the Black community during lockdowns and after the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers. The company supported students of Urban Prep with laptops so they can attend classes from home.
Further, Bevel helped consumers sign up for Headspace for meditation sessions. More recently, over the holidays, Bevel launched a campaign called Created for Kings, its latest effort to praise, protect and provide for Black men.
