More than 2 billion disposable razors wind up in landfills each year. Venerable razor brand Schick has created a new razor that it is designed to lighten the load and provide men with an option that remains convenient, lightweight, portable, affordable and disposable. The brand has released the Xtreme 3 Eco Glide, billed as the first disposable razor in the mass market to be made with 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and the only razor in the mass market that is fully recyclable (razor and packaging), according to Schick, which is part of Edgewell.
The Xtreme 3 Eco Glide features three flexible pivoting blades and dual comfort strips with natural aloe and vitamin E. The ergonomic handle is made from 100% recycled plastic. The packaging has 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
