Clairol Launches Hair Blonding, Gloss and Root Touch Up Kits

Hair care brand Clairol rolled out three new innovations: a hair blonding kit, gloss set and root touch-up kits. 

 

Blonde It Up ($9) lightens hair up to five levels with no bleach. Available in Platinum Bronde for dark hair and Platinum Blonde for blonde hair, patented AminoLift Technology lifts and protects hair while AminoGlycen complex helps protect the hair’s natural keratin and helps keep its structure intact. Kit includes the cult-favorite Shimmer Lights Conditioner from Clairol Professional. It is to be applied immediately after lightening for a cool, neutral tone or one-two weeks later to prevent brassiness. 

 

The new blonding kit will include a sachet of the crowd favorite from Clairol Professional, the Shimmer Lights Conditioner, to remove brassiness and keep your blonde looking fresh. 

 

Clairol Color Gloss Up ($12) includes 12, in-shower glosses with a variety of natural and vibrant colors. The one-step color can be used in or out the shower to achieve softer and glossy hair within 2-15 minutes. Formulated with rich conditioners like shea butter and argan oil, Color Gloss Up can be used with the Blonde It Up kit to pre-lighten hair to get a lighter base for the gloss color of choice. The two collections include Natural Shades from Toasted Almond Blonde to Terra Copper and Bold Shades including Blazin’ Red and Pretty in Hot Pink. 

 

Clairol Natural Instincts Root Touch Up ($7) is what the company claims a first-to-market permanent root touch up with 0% ammonia and 100% gray coverage that naturally blends roots with color. Made with 80% naturally derived ingredients, the vegan formula takes 20 minutes and is available in 10 shades ranging from dark auburn/reddish brown to lightest brown/bronde.
