For Fall/Winter 2022, the style is going to be all about classic glamour, according to designer Christian Cowan at his latest New York Fashion Week show.
“Gorgeous, gorgeous girls,” said Christian Cowan. “And it speaks to my whole career. I wouldn’t say I design individual collections; it’s a running body of work moved by the women in my life – from our interns to my mother, I soak in what they’re inspired by and translate that into my pieces. Whether fifteen or seventy, we’re capturing the spirit of Studio 54-meets-the-upper-east-sider-billionaire-vibe."
“Blush is back,” said Lori Taylor Davis, Global Pro Lead Artist for Smashbox Cosmetics, at the event. “Hot pink blush fringing from cheeks to temples, paired with a smokey cat eye and glassy lips completes the look. We’re serving worn-in intensity, but DIY impact – you can count the number of products we use on one hand. It’s all very happening – and happening now.”
