Color Street, through its charitable arm, the Color Street Foundation, is pledging $150,000 in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.
National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Through this collaboration, prevention services and supports help protect children and produce thriving families.
Proceeds from Color Street's Renew Hope nail polish strips ($13)-- a bold holographic glitter in navy blue-- will be split evenly between two nonprofits: The National Children’s Alliance and Safe Families for Children. The National Children’s Alliance is a professional membership organization on a mission to eradicate abuse with the help of families, advocates, partner agencies, communities and researchers to keep children safe. Safe Families for Children is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that provides hope and support to families in local communities with locations in 70 cities across the US, United Kingdom, Canada and beyond.
