Tim Saunier has been appointed president and CEO at Babor Americas, taking over from Tim Waller, who has moved on within the company to global responsibilities as co-CEO and group brand president Babor and premium brands at the Babor Beauty Group’s headquarters in Germany.
Saunier, who will based in Miami, and will assume his position on Jan. 1, 2023.
Saunier has been part of the Babor Beauty Group since 2021. As CMO he oversaw the global marketing of the brand Babor and played a key role in sharpening the brand’s image as well as the strategic development of the expert skincare brand. With his new position, strengthening the brand and gaining market share in the US, Canada and the Caribbean will be his main objectives.
“Babor stands for expert skincare. Made in Germany. I am sure we will captivate consumers in the Americas with this clear brand messaging that leverages our heritage,” said Saunier. “The team did an outstanding job so far and I am looking forward to lifting the brand to new heights based on this strong foundation. My goal is to position the brand firmly in the prestige skincare market.”
Before joining the Babor Beauty Group, Saunier held various leadership and product marketing roles at global players like Unilever and L’Oréal.
