A new genderless skin care brand encouraging consumers to embrace their uniqueness by putting their best face forward aims to disrupt the beauty aisle in a “good weird” kind of way.
Enter Good Weird— the dual definition of a way to describe someone or something that stands out in a good way and the highest compliment.
Good Weird is founded by Evan Mock, model, skateboarder and star of HBO Max's "Gossip Girl," and cofounded by entrepreneurs Jonathan Wormser and Stephen Yaseen. The vegan brand, which is Leaping Bunny certified, makes multipurpose products that provide an immediate emotional benefit, according to the founders. Whether that’s masking a zit or optimizing their skincare routine— all while helping consumers look good, feel better and “stay weird.”
Yaseen has a background in customer data software at Segment and served on the Chord Commerce team as chief of staff. Wormser, who is also the brand’s chief creative officer, has experience cultivating strong brand communities at New York City-based culture magazine, The Fader.
Back From Vacay Bronzer, Balmy Weather Moisture Stick and More

Good Weird is launching with three new skincare products: Back From Vacay Bronzer, Balmy Weather Moisture Stick and Cold Brew Under Eye.
Back From Vacay Bronzer ($21) is a lightly tinted, sheer gel-creme. The bronzer, which comes in varying shade levels per the consumer’s preference including Malibu, Waikiki and Bora Bora, is made from a unique blend of oils and extracts that help restore and moisturize the skin including glycerin, cocoa seed and sunflower extracts.
Balmy Weather Moisture Stick ($22) is a multipurpose moisture stick for the face and lips. Hero ingredients include shea butter, squalane and myristyl lactate and come in three shades: Mango (a warm terracotta); Guava (a dusty rose); and Coconut (clear.)
Cold Brew Under Eye ($23) is an invigorating under eye serum that the brand likens to an espresso shot. This formula smooths, blurs and reduces fine lines, all while brightening skin and encouraging collagen production. The hero ingredients are caffeine, niacinamide, diamond powder and sorghum bicolor stalk juice.
