Marin Launches New Lip Care Treatment with Upcycled Marine Glycoproteins

Indie personal care brand Marin Skincare is expanding with its second product launch—new lip care formulas that harness a key component found in its skincare cream: marine glycoproteins. The Maine-based personal care brand’s hero ingredient is a natural byproduct of existing lobster processing, a nod to its home state. 

The launch marks the growing company’s foray beyond body and facial skincare.

The new lip formulas are said to deeply hydrate, repair, soothe and protect. The treatments are said to Increase natural hyaluronic acid production, stimulate fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis  and reduce redness and irritation

Two variants are available—an unscented version as well as one that also harkens to the brand’s heritage: Blueberry French Toast.
