Top Bidders Revealed for Biossance, MenoLabs, Pipette and 4U

Amyris-owned beauty brands were slated for auction block as part of its Chapter 11 filing.

According to court documents, some of the beauty brands owned by ingredients company Amyris have found new owners. The sale of the consumer brands were part of the company’s Chapter 11 filing announced in August.

THG Beauty USA LLC has emerged the winning bidder for Biossance for $20 million

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Inc. was named the successful bidder for MenoLabs for $3 million.

HRB Brands was named the bidder for baby care brand Pipette for $1.75 million.

Scent Theory Products was name the successful bidder for 4U by Tia for $600,000.
 
The sale hearing will be conducted on Dec.12, 2023 before the Honorable Thomas M. Horan, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Amryis also owns Olika, JVN, Rose Inc, Ecofabulous and Stripes; these brands were not noted in the documentation.
