According to reports, new owners have been found other beauty brands that were part of Amyris, the biotech ingredients company that filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, as reported by Happi.
Stripes, the menopause-focused beauty and wellness brand created with actress Naomi Watts, was sold for $500,000 to Sakana LLC. Watts is listed as a member of Sakana.
JVN Hair—founded in 2021 with Jonathan Van Ness of “Queer Eye”—was sold to investment firm Windsong Global for $1.25 million.
Makeup brand Rose Inc. was picked up by AA Investments (HK) Ltd. for $2.5 million.
Earlier this month, MenoLabs and Biossance were sold auctioned off to new owners.
EcoFabulous and Olika, which Amyris acquired in 2021, were discontinued prior to the Amyris bankuptcy filing, according to reports.
