The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) has promoted the following three staff members and added a new addition to its government affairs team.
Kristin DiNicolantonio is now senior director, stakeholder communications. She joined ACI in 2020 and previously served as ACI’s director, stakeholder communications. Prior to joining ACI, she served in communications roles at the International Life Sciences Institute and Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health.
Brennan Georgianni was named senior director, state government affairs. Joining ACI in 2021, he previously served as ACI’s director, state government affairs. Prior to joining ACI, he served in government affairs roles at the Plastics Industry Association.
Merla Zollinger is now associate vice president, meetings. She joined ACI in 2018 and previously served as senior director, convention & meetings. She has decades of experience in the meetings sector, having worked for the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers for three decades.
New Coordinator for Public Affairs
ACI also appointed Vittoria van Blommestein as its new program coordinator, public affairs. In this role, she supports ACI’s federal legislative efforts in policy and regulatory research, including ACI’s PAC. Vittoria graduated from The George Washington University in 2023 with a BA in International Affairs and Peace Studies.
