The Emmy Awards recognized the artistic and technical merit for the American and international television industry on Monday night, but the hair and makeup were a show all their own.

Beauty industry professionals divulged how to create some of this year’s hottest looks from actress Suki Waterhouse to actor Jeremy Allen White.

Jeremy Allen White’s Porcelain Complexion

Actor Jeremy Allen White won 'Best Actor' in a comedy series for “The Bear.”
Everybody’s favorite Chef, Jeremy Allen White, who won for his star role in television comedy series, “The Bear” took to the red carpet for the 75th Emmy Awards. While he won best actor, his glowing face make also be credited to formulas from Aesop applied by longtime groomer KC Fee.

Fee calls the brand “a classic, sophisticated product line with nourishing natural ingredients” that worked to “hydrate and calm his skin for a fresh look.”

First, Fee started the skin prep by massaging Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Intense Serum into White’s face and neck. She then used the B Triple C Facial Balancing Gel to soften the skin and even out the skin tone. She took about a quarter-size amount and warmed it in the palms for 10-15 seconds, to allow the honey-like texture to emulsify.

To double up on hydration, she applied a lightweight face cream, Seeking Silence Facial Hydrator, on his face and neck. This cream has calming and soothing properties to help with redness and irritation.

Fee then treated the eyes with the Parsley Seed Anti-Oxidant Eye Cream, which contains a generous amount of Vitamins C & E to gently nourish and bolster tired eyes.

Once the skin was finished, she took the Fabulous Face Oil and dabbed it lightly around his face to enhance the fresh dewy look.

Lastly, she applied the Cedar & Citrus Lip Salve to hydrate and moisten his lips to be red carpet ready.

Suki Waterhouse’s Cat-Like Eye

Actress Suki Waterhouse

Lashes, creating a seamlessly stunning look complimenting her red gown that was tailored to fit her pregnant figure. “Daisy Jones & the Six” received one Emmy nomination for Outstanding Limited/Anthology Series.

Celebrity Makeup artist Benjamin Puckey created a glamorous look while maintaining Waterhouse’s effortless charm and rock ‘n’ roll edge using KISS The New Natural Lashes in Pearl Earring for a feathery effect with a lifted, cat-like eye.

To achieve Suki Waterhouse’s look, Puckey brushed the biotin-infused Lash Couture Super Strong Strip Lash Adhesive onto the lash band of The New Natural Lash, waiting 30 seconds before placing it onto the natural lash line. After the lash was in place, he applied a thin coat of mascara to blend the strip lash in with the natural lash.

The New Natural Lashes (12.99) are available at KISSusa.com.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez’s Effortless Face-Framing Curl

Actress and Rare Beauty Founder Selena Gomez’s stylist, Marisa Marino, started by shampooing, spraying in a detangler and then brushing her hair through with the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler ($16). The brush has patented two-tiered teeth that gently detangle while causing less breakage and draws the treatment through the hair.

Marino then blow-dried her hair straight, sectioned out her front bang and clipped it up, while brushing the rest of her hair into a tight ponytail using the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler ($17). This brush has unique, bottle-shaped teeth that have been designed to dry-style and effortlessly finish any look. Marino says she loves how the brush grips the hair without creating frizz for a smooth finish.

Then, she wrapped the ponytail around into a bun and secured it with bobby pins and let down the front section, curling it away from her face to frame it.
Lastly, she brushed through with the Tangle Teezer Ultimate Styler, which helps finish the look and enhance shine.

Celebrity Makeup artist Jo Baker created a futuristic metallic, bombshell eye look with full, fluttery lashes using the KISS Lash Couture Luxtensions Lash Extensions Kit. The 3D faux lash extensions are individually applied in lash clusters in a variety of curl shapes and lengths with semi-permanent adhesive for a salon-quality look that can last up to two weeks.

Jessica Chastain
Baker enhanced Lyonne’s lash line with clusters from the Lash Couture Luxtensions Extensions Kit to create a glamorous, yet dramatic look. She placed the medium-length clusters throughout, adding the small-length clusters at the edges for added drama.

“I love how these individual clusters lay flat and close to the root of the lash line for easy application and a natural look,” said Baker.
