According to beauty trend tracker Spate, consumers are even willing to switch from the tried-and-true bottle to the bar. In fact, the shampoo bar trend has a predicted growth rate of +32.3% in the next year, according to analysts.
It’s a very high-volume trend with seven market leaders including Lush, Kitsch and Viori. As hair health becomes a top concern alongside an increase in concerns for hair loss, itchy scalps and split ends, there also exists a shift in the hairstyles people are searching for. Top hair trends are moving away from slick looks to more gentle styles, Spate says, prioritizing benefits such as low maintenance, ease of styling and volumizing.
