But, in the words of Beyoncé’s latest hit song, “This ain’t Texas, ain’t no hold em.” And she believes in laying her cards about hair care, down, down, down.

That philosophy may very well constitute her new hair care brand Cécred’s status as the top-growing hair brand based on searches in the US next to Hers, according to Spate

Beyoncé launched a hair care line, Cécred, with her mom, Tina Knowles, last month, and her fans (members of the BeyHive (or should we say rodeo!) are bullish in their pursuit of attaining great locks with its products. Analysts say Cécred averages 990 monthly searches with a +181.2% year-over-year (YoY) growth. Interestingly, searches are for the brand name, as consumers are discovering the brand through Beyoncé above specific products.

While the brand caters to all hair types including coily, curly, wavy, or straight, there’s a significant focus on textured hair. Luckily for Cécred, searches for textured hair are up an ambitious +36.2% YoY, with an average of 23.5K searches a month, indicating a great opportunity for the brand to serve its target customers.

Hair Regrowth “Her” Way

Hair growth is a common problem for many women, receiving an average of 1.3 million searches per month with a growth of +0.2% YoY.

One of their top-selling products is the Hers hair regrowth treatment, a minoxidil 2% topical solution. Searches for “minoxidil” alongside “hair” receive an average of 73.9K searches a month per Spate. A top search is for reviews on Hers’ minoxidil topical hair growth solution.
