Singapore-based skincare brand Allies of Skin has raised $20 million from Meaningful Partners, according to reports.
The funds will be used to accelerate Allies of Skin’s efforts for additional marketing, research and development and teambuilding in the US.
Nicolas Travis launched the science-led brand with three products in 2016. The 1A All-Day Mask was the hero and reportedly stemmed from the founder’s belief in double-masking and combination treatments.
The line has since grown to include a full range of skin care, with formulas containing clinically proven actives including retinoids, vitamin C and antioxidants — all in high concentrations, in addition to biocompatible formulas to repair, regenerate and “train” skin to perform at its optimum level in few steps, per the brand.
The brand is currently sold in 36 countries through 40 retailers, including Space NK, Mecca, Sephora, Dermstore and Cult Beauty and online here.
