LĀ Sol Collective, a leading “clean beauty” company, is celebrating Earth Day 2024 with a renewed commitment to sustainability and the environment.
Founded by Staci Barrett and Angela Dunning on the ethos of beauty and sustainability going hand in hand, the brand says it’s committed to using “non-toxic” and effective ingredients in its products.
"This Earth Day, we want to reaffirm our commitment to creating good products for you and the planet,” the founders said in a joint statement. “We believe that every small step counts towards a more sustainable future, and we will continue to innovate and push the boundaries of sustainable products. We hope to inspire others to join us on this journey."
LĀ Sol Collective's "hero" product, Clear SPF30 Sunscreen, for example, is Hawaii Safe Act compliant and made with an “eco-friendly” formula. The company says it plans to take this commitment further by changing its packaging to post-consumer recyclable (PCR) materials, reducing its environmental footprint.
Moreover, the company says its collaboration with online marketplace Beautyologie and The Conscious Beauty Collective in Palm Springs, CA is a testament to its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
The company is also featured in the Clean Beauty Guide by celebrity holistic nutritionist Kelly LeVeque.
