The Midwest Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists’ Teamworks event is scheduled for March 22. This is the main event for the chapter and a key networking opportunity for the Central Northeast region of the US cosmetic/personal care and household care chemistry sector.
Held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, Teamworks attracts nearly 1,000 industry professionals, such as chemists and product development specialists from the cosmetics, beauty, personal and household care sectors including R&D professionals involved in ingredient/strategic sourcing, formulation experts and marketing/sales strategists.
The exhibit floor is complemented with a technical symposium. The topic of this year’s symposium is: “The ‘New Normal’ in Home & Personal Care.” Speakers will present in 20-minute blocks. Student posters will be on display from noon – 4:30pm in the Expo Hall of Teamworks.
In addition to this well-attended expo and technical session, the Midwest Chapter hosts a social night. This event, which has been scheduled for March 22 from 6-10 pm at Joe’s Live in Rosemont, will feature a signature cocktail, live band, karaoke, networking and a chance to catch up with colleagues and industry friends. Tickets are $130 per person purchased by February 18, with a pack of eight or more sold at $120 per ticket. After February 18, the cost is $150 per ticket with $140 per ticket in packs of eight or more.
