Skin Protectant Spray Compositions Assigned to Pfizer

Patent No. US 6,949,249 B2: Pfizer, Morris Plains, NJ, patented a diaper rash composition comprising at least 1% of dimethicone and mineral wax, 0.5% of silica, 0.1% of a silicon-containing polymeric film-forming agent and a synthetic wax polymeric film-forming agent, 2% cyclomethicone and isohexadecane and at least 50% mineral oil, wherein the composition is liquid, water-repellent, anhydrous, spray-pumpable, designed for the skin of a baby, adheres, and resists running.
