Michael Coxey was appointed to senior product group manager with regional responsibility for the Cognis alkyl poly glucosides product group. In addition, he will take over marketing responsibility for the North American home care market segments. Mr. Coxey joined Cognis in 2007.
Jeffrey Parker joined Cognis as technical manager, personal care. He is responsible for all technical projects in the personal care segment and was previously employed with Inolex Chemical Company as the personal care technology manager.

Dow Chemical Company: named Mark Henning general manager of Dow Microbial Control, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company. In this role, he assumes leadership of the company’s biocides business, combining Dow’s and Rohm and Haas’ biocides operations. Mr. Henning joined Dow in 1983 as an electrical engineer at the Joliet, IL manufacturing plant. In 1987, he moved to polystyrene films production. In 1993, he was named project manager for the SAP implementation for the films and engineered laminates business and global business director for engineered laminates in 1995. In 1998, Mr. Henning was promoted to global business director for performance foams in the fabricated products business. He moved to Buffalo Grove, IL

Drom: welcomed back Gabriele Höss as its international fragrance development director. With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Höss has wide-ranging knowledge and has placed successful products in all segments. Prior to returning to Drom, she worked for Firmenich in Germany and the U.S., as well as for Wessel Fragrances in the U.S., where she managed major clients such as Procter & Gamble, L’Oréal and Unilever.
Fusion Brands: named Caroline Pieper-Vogt as chief executive officer of Fusion Brands Inc. She succeeds Randi Shinder, who has retired from the company.
Ms. Pieper-Vogt has held senior vice president roles in marketing, sales and group business development at Clarins USA.
