Visit Southwest Research Institute (Stand No. M80B) to learn more about the company's contract R&D capabilities for microencapsulation and nanoencapsulation. Southwest Research Institute recently completed constructing an additional 12,100 square feet of laboratory space, which includes a 40 ft. prilling/atomization tower; a current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) high bay; a 3,375 cubic-foot, minus-30° C processing chamber; three multi-kilogram synthesis suites; and supporting preparation laboratories. Additionally, SwRI recently joined the Cosmetic Valley, an international perfumery cosmetic network, to offer encapsulation R&D support and services to its members.
The Institute is a recognized leader in encapsulation, with more than 60 years of research and development experience ranging from proof-of-concept to production. SwRI has conducted more than 1,000 different encapsulation and micronization projects for numerous clients, spanning a wide variety of application areas. Encapsulation techniques and formulations are selected based on the needs of the specific application.
