The latest innovation at Maybelline is Baby Lips Repairing Lip Balm, an intense-care balm that's hitting stores this October. The SPF 20 stick will retail for $3.99 and includes an ingredient called Centella Asiatica, a botanic found in India, Sri Lanka, Australia, and other parts of Asia that's been shown to improve lip coloration and reduce the appearance of lines, according to the company.
The product touts eight hours of hydration, and will be available in six variations: two clear hues (Quenched and Peppermint) and four tinted (Cherry Me, Pink Punch, Grape Vine, and Peach Kiss).
“Lip balms have proven to be an essential daily accessory for many women,” said Carolyn Holba, senior vice president of marketing for the company. “With Baby Lips, Maybelline New York has created the lip balm women have been craving: the repairing benefits of a treatment lip balm, with the option of color payoff in a playful fun pack.”
The company also recently debuted Great Lash Lots of Lashes, featuring a heart-shaped elastomer brush.
