The New Jersey Center for Biomaterials has issued a call for papers and posters to be presented at the 11th NJ Symposium on Biomaterials Science at the Hyatt Regency, New Brunswick, NJ, Oct. 9-11, 2012.
Organizers seek submissions from academia and industry to present novel research on therapeutic and diagnostic applications of biomaterials. For those wishing to make an oral presentation, topics should relate to the theme of bioactive scaffolds and should focus on one of the following subjects:
• Chemical approaches to creating bioactive materials;
• Approaches for regeneration of musculoskeletal tissues;
• Data-driven presentations on bioactivity; and
• Enhancing stem cell based regenerative therapies with biomaterials.
Those authors selected for oral presentation will have their registrations waived.
For those wishing to make poster presentations, any topic relevant to bioactive scaffolds may be submitted. In addition, four of the 50 selected poster presenters will be invited (by September 24) to also give talks in a special session of poster award winners.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the 11th Symposium proceedings.
All submittals must be sent to symposium11@dls.rutgers.edu with the following subject line: 2012 Symposium Call for Papers.
