Herborium Group, Inc. plans to launch a marketing campaign targeting sales of its proprietary, all botanical acne treatment, AcnEase, to Asian Indians, the most affluent ethnic market in the US, said the company.
"We have hired Mr. Karan Sharma, also a director of Elite Enterprises LTD of US and Mumbai, whose experience includes 15 years of building vast ethnic Indian distribution networks in the US and UK to lead our efforts in providing ourunique acne treatment to Indian Ethnic markets.We are very excited about Mr. Sharma joining the Herborium team," stated Dr. Agnes P. Olszewski, CEO of Herborium.
"We also treat our entry into Indian Ethnic markets in the US and UK as the first step in a future expansion to Indian market. The Indian cosmetic industry is estimated to grow around 22% during 2011-2014."
