Celebrating 150 years of enchanting the senses, the renowned French fragrance house of Roger&Gallet introduces The Emperor Collection ($65), a limited edition collector series of fragrances in the brand’s three most cherished scents and presented in bottles reminiscent of the original Eau de Cologne bottle created for Napoleon I.
This limited edition collection features the original Jean Marie Farina Eau de Cologne, the adored Bois d’Orange scent and the US market pre-launch of Fleur d’Osmanthus, the Fragrance of Happiness. With elements of modern design, the collector series features the long, thin bottles reminiscent of those favored by Napoleon I and his officers because they easily slipped into the soldiers’ boots during battle.
Roger&Gallet was founded in 1862 by Armand Roger and Charles Gallet, heirs to Jean Marie Farina’s celebrated Eau de Cologne, one of the first beauty and personal care products formulated using medicinal plants. In 2012 Roger&Gallet celebrates 150 years of enchanting the senses, combining artistic creation, tradition and innovation in all of its products.
