Croda International Plc. has completed the acquisition of the specialty products business of Arizona Chemical of Jacksonville, FL.The acquisition closed on May 23, 2013.
The acquisition brings Croda a portfolio of class leading oil gelling polymers, further expanding Croda’s footprint in the polymers arena, while strengthening Croda’s position as leaders in speciality chemicals from renewable resources. Croda will immediately begin the transition of these the products into its portfolio, including the transfer of production to an existing Croda manufacturing site in Europe followed by a re-launch of the products with new Croda trade names and marketing identities.
